Nutritionyour first visit
At a typical new patient appointment,
you will be greeted by our friendly staff and asked to complete a brief personal information sheet for future contact and computer purposes. The staff will explain our policies and escort you to my office. An initial appointment last about an hour.
Prior to your appointment, you will receive paperwork to complete. This will include a systems assessment, a food log, and a toxicity questionnaire. Please set aside 20-30 minutes to complete these forms, as they are quite comprehensive.
If you have any blood work within one year, saliva tests, or other pertinent information, please bring those with you to your initial appointment. If you are on any prescribed medications, please make a list of them and bring that as well.
follow up appointments
are usually scheduled 2-4 weeks after your initial appointment depending on your needs, and will be 30 minutes long. Please bring your supplements with you on your follow up appointments. If you have questions about your protocol, do not hesitate to call the office, we are happy to answer any questions you have. Don’t forget to check out our Resources page for helpful handouts and our Blog for health articles and videos!
One of the technologies I utilize is a Zyto. This bio-electrical impedance device has been used in Europe for more than 70 years. It sends an imperceptible signal into your body via the acupuncture points on the hand. If an organ system is stressed or needs support, the signal will be enhanced or diminished. The computer gathers this information and compiles it into graphs for us to review.
During your appointment I will take a medical history, we will review your paperwork, labs, perform a Zyto scan, and if needed a cardio scan. Once I have gathered a comprehensive understanding of your health history and reasons for consulting our office I use a muscle testing technique called MFT to help me create a functional nutrition plan that is customized to you.
